Vincent Vosse’s Team WRT is one of the most successful teams in the circle of Audi Sport customer racing partners and has decided to take a new path from 2023. Founded in 2010, the W Racing Team has clinched 13 drivers championship titles in GT racing series and more than 20 other class titles to date – each of them with the Audi R8 LMS GT3 sports car.

In addition, the Belgian company has not only been the race team for many competitions supported by Audi Sport customer racing but a global ambassador for Audi Sport. It clinched renowned international victories with the brand, for example at the Suzuka 10 Hours and the Bathurst 12 Hour, and has thus been instrumental in winning the Intercontinental GT Challenge titles.

Six overall victories in 24-hour races – including the very first ever with an Audi R8 LMS at Spa in 2011 – as well as many dozens of race wins with sports and touring cars in sprint and endurance races round off the outstanding joint record with the Belgians.

The partnership between Team WRT and Audi Sport customer racing has shaped customer racing at Audi and is one of the most remarkable success stories in modern GT racing.

“After 13 fantastic years, we will be going our separate ways from 2023 but we will continue to have friendly ties,” says Chris Reinke, Head of Audi Sport customer racing. “The close relationship with Vincent Vosse as well as with Yves and Pascal Weerts is characterized by deep trust, shared sporting values and an absolute drive for success. A big thank you to them and their entire team, combined with best wishes for the future.”
