With the return of the big manufacturers in the main class, the ACO will have to deal with a new problem. It is not only the entry list for the 24 Hours of Le Mans that will be complicated to compile. There will also be the WEC entry list.

In the near future, the LMP2 class could disappear from the World Endurance Championship, although it will remain the main class in the ELMS and the Asian Le Mans Series and will be accepted by the IMSA SportsCar Championship.
