We had the problem of track limits, now we have the problem of gravel...

The return of the gravel at Spa-Francorchamps has reduced the penalties for track limits, but this does not mean that all the problems have been solved. There were a lot of punctures yesterday with drivers who did not follow the instructions during the briefing. Gravel broke out of the windows of cars parked closed to the track.
At the end of the 1st day of test, the race director have been warned about the damages caused by the cars, before and during yesterday’s sessions, on the gravel traps in different turns.
During the safety briefing, Alain Adam reminded the drivers not to drive in the gravel, this was not respected. In some turns the gravel is removed for almost 10 cm, which makes a sharp edge appear, which caused serious damages to the tires.
