A perfect race for Jota in 2022 ! LMDh in 2023 ?

With a double LMP2 podium at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Jota has demonstrated a record in the category. Sam Hignett's team has all the ingredients to move up to LMDh by 2023, which is part of the plans.

To win the 24 Hours of Le Mans, you generally need luck, but to have luck every year is almost impossible when you see the level of the teams on the track. For Jota, it's far from luck. Since 2014, the British team led by Sam Hignett had finished on the podium eight times in LMP2. The statistics increase to ten after the 2022 edition. Jota is one of a small group of teams capable of moving up to the LMDh, which is a good thing, as this is clearly the objective from 2023.
