ORECA releases its 100th 07 LMP2 chassis !

When you know that an LMP2 costs around 500 000 euros, producing 100 chassis is massive. Beyond the financial aspect, ORECA has built a winning machine that has immediately beaten the competition. The Var chassis is quite lonely in an LMP2 category that has become a one-design category by force of circumstance. 

This 100th Oreca 07 chassis will compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans next month with COOL Racing. Niklas Krütten, Yifei Ye and Ricky Taylor will share the wheel of this number 100 at Le Mans. CLX Racing boss Nicolas Lapierre was given the task of putting the finishing touches to the LMP2 car, which is being given a special livery for the occasion. 

 After Le Mans, it is already known that chassis #100 will join the ORECA TechnoCentre where various cars from the ORECA history will be exhibited.
