New batch of informations, coming from Imola and Paul-Ricard...
- ELMS - At the 4 Hours of Imola, the Bronze Test was dominated by Salih Yoluc. The Turkish driver, who completed a lap in 1'35''334 at the wheel of the n°34 Oreca 07 of Racing Team Turkey, was 1''072 and 1''200 faster than François Perrodo (n°88 Oreca / AF Corse) and John Falb (n°47 Oreca / Algarve Pro Racing). Tom van Rompuy (No. 4 Duqueine / DKR Engineering) and Ahmad Al Harty (No. 69 Aston Martin / Oman Racing With TF Sport) were also prominent in LMP3 and GTE.
- Michelin Le Mans Cup - The #69 Cool Racing Ligier of Maurice Smith-Malthe Jakobsen set the fastest time in EL2 with a 1'38.358. Four other JS P320s followed, starting with the #33 Team Virage (Hodes-Rodriguez) and the #23 United Autosports (Schauerman-Boyd), which were respectively 0'113 and 0'406 off the benchmark. In GT3, AF Corse took the lead with the #61 Forgione-Montermini Ferrari 488 GT3, ahead of the #46 Ebimotors Porsche 911 GT3 R (Busnelli-Babini) and the three GMB Motorsport Honda NSX GT3s.
- IMSA - As Louis Delétraz is in Imola fort the ELMS, Tower Motorsport had to find a new driver for Mid-Ohio, this week-end. British driver Will Stevens will be John Farano's teammate this weekend in the #8 Oreca 07.
- Video - Last weekend, Aston Martin posted a video on Twitter - viewable HERE - of its Valkyrie AMR Pro at Miami-Homestead, driven by Andy Priaulx. Introducing the video, a text: "F1 wasn't the only attraction in Miami last weekend... Valkyrie AMR Pro is the ultimate no-rules hyper-car." And a fan replied, "It isn't Hyper until it races Le Mans!" Well said...
- Ferrari Challenge - Doriane Pin started the second round of the Ferrari Challenge at Paul-Ricard in the best possible way. At home, the young Frenchwoman set the best time in the tests before dominating the free practice session.
