- Audi is the most represented brand at Brands Hatch with 10 R8 LMS GT3. There are 5 Mercedes-AMG GT3, 4 McLaren 720S GT3, 3 Ferrari 488 GT3, 2 Porsche 911 GT3 R and 2 Lamborghini Huracan GT3.

  - Compared to last season, 8 teams have left the Sprint Championship: Toksport WRT, RAM Racing, Emil Frey Racing, SPS automotive-performance, Rinaldi Racing, Madpanda Motorsport, CMR, Allied-Racing. The series saw the arrival of Tresor by Car Collection, GSM Novamarine, JP Motorsport.

  - The five crews entered in the Pro-Am will have to respect a 57-second window during the mandatory pit stop between the 25th and 35th minute.

  - The only team not present in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance is GSM Novamarine, which is running a Lamborghini Huracan GT3 for Isaac Tutumlu and Gerhard Tweraser. The Monegasque team arrives from Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe.

- The Lamborghini Huracan GT3/Barwell Motorsport of Ben Barker and Alex Malykhin is not expected to race during the full season. Malykhin did not take part in Q1 due to illness. The regulations allow a driver to drive alone in the event in case of force majeure.

- Jules Gounon should be replaced by a Mercedes-AMG factory driver from the DTM at Magny-Cours due to Bathurst 12H.

  - Timur Boguslavskiy is in Brands Hatch with Akkodis ASP. The Russian driver has respected the regulations of the FIA to run under the neutral licence. This is also the case for Belarusian driver Alex Malykhin who drives for Barwell Motorsport. Boguslavskiy's usual partner, Nefis, has been replaced by MSM (Media & Sport Management), which manages the sporting interests of the Tartastan-born driver.

 - Igor Walilko (Mercedes/Akkodis ASP) and Oliver Wilkinson (McLaren/Jota) lost 1 BWP and will be retrograded 3 places on the grid for race 1. Both drivers improved under yellow flag conditions.

- Dries Vanthoor (Audi/WRT) also lost 1 point, this time for speeding in the pit lane: 52.5 km/h instead of 50 km/h. The same penalty for Valentino Rossi (Audi/WRT) with 57.3 km/h and Eddie Cheever (Mercedes/Sky Tempesta) 54 km/h.

  - Brands Hatch has the particularity of having sensors and cameras in three corners (T1, T2, T3) to control the track limits.

  - Race 1 will start at 12.25pm (French time) and Race 2 at 5.45pm.
