The 186 drivers for the 24 Hours of Le Mans !

The lineups for the 2022 Le Mans 24 Hours (11/12 June) are now unveiled. As in previous years, 186 drivers are on the list.

Among the drivers, 6 women (Lilou Wadoux, Sophia Floersch, Rahel Frey, Michelle Gatling, Sarah Bovy and Katherine Legge), an eight-time world rally champion (Sébastien Ogier), a famous actor (Michael Fassbender), multiple winners of the 24 Hours of Le Mans (Sébastien Buemi, . .) or former Formula 1 drivers (Giancarlo Fisichella, Esteban Gutierrez, Robert Kubica, Sébatien Bourdais...). There are 13 nationalities among the teams. 

The lineups for the Hypercar category were already known at Alpine, Glickenhaus and Toyota.

In the LMP2 class, Alexandre Cougnaud will make his debut at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the Oreca 07/DKR Engineering, together with Jean Glorieux and Laurents Hörr. Ricky Taylor will replace Nicolas Lapierre in the COOL Racing car, alongside Yifei Ye and Niklas Krütten. Tristan Vautier joins the ARC Bratislava crew. Like Cougnaud, the French driver will make his debut at Le Mans. John Falb and Sophia Flörsch will be supported by Jack Aitken at Algarve Pro Racing.

In the GTE-Pro, nothing to report with the trios already announced. In the GTE-Am class, JMW Motorsport is reorganising the trio in its Ferrari 488 GTE with Renger van der Zande, Mark Kvamme and Jason Hart. WeatherTech Racing will rely on Gianluca Giraudi, Cooper MacNeil and Julien Andlauer. Richard Heistand will be the third driver in the #80 Ferrari 488 GTE/Iron Lynx, along with Giancarlo Fisichella and Matteo Cressoni. Hardpoint Motorsport, which will make its debut at Le Mans, will field Adrien De Leener, Katherine Legge and Rob Ferriol.
