WEC - 6H Spa : less power for the Alpine A480...

Alpine, Toyota and Glickenhaus will meet again in the Ardennes for a new confrontation in the Hypercar category. The Alpine A480 that won in Florida in the hands of Matthieu Vaxiviere, Nicolas Lapierre and André Negrao loses 20 kW for Spa-Francorchamps, which is equivalent to a reduction of about 27 horsepower.

This adjustment is the only one in the Hypercar category. The weight of the Alpine is 952 kg, compared to 1030 kg for Glickenhaus and 1070 kg for Toyota.

No change in megajoules for the different manufacturers: Alpine (797), Glickenhaus (910), Toyota (898).

In the GTE category, the only change concerns the Porsche 911 RSR (GTE-Pro and GTE-Am), which will have a 2-litre reduction in fuel capacity.

In GTE-Am, the Aston Martin Vantage GTE/NorthWest AMR will carry 15kg more fuel following its victory at the 1000 Miles of Sebring, compared to 10kg for the Aston Martin Vantage GTE/TF Sport and 5kg for the #56 Porsche 911 RSR/Team Project 1.
