Fred Makowiecki (Porsche): "Experience cannot be bought"

For his return to full-time WEC racing, Fred Makowiecki is driving in the top class in one of the two Porsche 963s shared with Michael Christensen and Dane Cameron. After the 1000 Miles of Sebring, the 6H of Portimao will follow in two weeks.

What can we say about the 1000 Miles of Sebring? The first thing is that we can only be very proud of the team who worked day and night. The last nights before the race were very short. We have a team that wants it and I know that it will pay off afterwards. Of course, we are not yet where we want to be. We are not going to deny it, we have to do better afterwards. We must now analyse the situation in depth. The good thing is that the team didn't make a single mistake in the race with very solid stops. If it had been cooler, I think we would have performed better.
