Why did René Rast put an end to his Audi adventure?
Everyone knows the answer. Announced on Audi's future Hypercar programme in October 2021, the German is one of the collateral victims of the project's termination... just like WRT! Just like the Belgian team, he has decided to leave the firm with the rings, which can not retain its historical allies since it is unable to propose a proper racing programme. As much in WEC / IMSA as in GT3, since we still don't know if Audi will persevere in GT3 now that the R8 has reached the end of its life.
