We won't teach you anything by telling you that the spectacle of the 24 Hours of Spa takes place on the track with more than 60 GTs of a single category. For several years now, it has also taken place out of the track. The Balance of Performance, which is no longer debated, has given way to the track limits. Endurance-Info investigated less than two weeks before the biggest GT race in the world...
We can tell you that it is "excessively annoying". At every meeting the same ritual. The track limits have become the heart of the discussions in the paddock café. You regularly hear the same story. We won't lie to ourselves : nothing really moves. Various systems are being developed, but none of them has got everyone on board. Human surveillance is one thing but it's outdated. Who is really monitoring at 3.25 am in the top of the Raidillon ? To solve the problem, we need something infallible that cannot be challenged.
