Analysis - Why has the Alpine BoP been revised again (+ reaction of Philippe Sinault)

Surprisingly, the Performance Balance of the #36 A480 was revised for the second time in two days. This was a surprise for the French team, as its main team member Philippe Sinault told us.

WHAT'S WRONG WITH ALPINE ?

 

Yesterday morning, in a press conference, the Alpine was happy. But since the Hyperpole on Thursday, speculation has been rife in the paddock. Nicolas Lapierre's lap time of 3'24''850 for the 13.626 km circuit was the cause, just 0'442 seconds off pole. So far, one could say that the BoP is perfect, since it is supposed to give the competitors of the category in question an equal chance of victory. "Glickenhaus is only one second behind and we are always a little bit slower in the race", Philippe Sinault told us.
