The Fuji race, which was severely disrupted by two severe but fortunately not serious accidents for the riders involved, ended without 75% of the distance being covered. As per the rules, only half the points were awarded.

In GT500, Kazuya Oshima and Kenta Yamashita, saved by the bell with a #14 Eneos Rookie Racing Toyota GR Supra that was badly damaged by the debris of the Takaboshi accident, added two points to their total and remained ahead of the #100 Stanley Kunimitsu Honda crew, Naoki Yamamoto and Tadasuke Makino. Ronnie Quintarelli and Tsugio Matsuda were third in the #23 Nissan Z, allowing all three manufacturers to be represented in the top three places.

In GT300, Kiyoto Fujinami and Joao Paolo de Oliveira in the #56 Realize Kondo Nissan GT-R GT3 retain the lead and Fuji round winners Ryuichiro Tomita and Riki Okusa in the #10 Tanax Gainer Nissan GT-R GT3 take second ahead of Takashi Kobayashi and Kakunoshi Ohta in the #18 Upgarage Honda NSX GT3 Evo 2, who have the same number of points but one less result.

The points scored translate into performance ballast for the next round at twice the number of points for the GT500 and three times the number of points for the GT300. At Suzuka, the #14 Supra will carry 46kg of ballast and the #56 Nissan GT-R GT3 adds 66kg of ballast.
